Submitting a Session

Application Architecture Development
The Architecture Program focuses on infrastructure, databases, message flow and transaction processing. Its Project areas include ASM (System z Assembler), CICS, LANG (Development Languages), MQ, SOA and ADI (Application Development Integration and Infrastructure.)
Communications Infrastructure
The Communications Infrastructure Program is SHARE's focus for telecommunications hardware, software, communications architectures, programming interfaces and interface standards to provide a framework for complete connectivity.
Enterprise Data Center
The Enterprise Data Center Program (EDC) provides a technical program that encompasses the most essential disciplines of Systems Management and other tools and techniques to improve the effectiveness of professionals in SHARE's Member organizations who are accountable for all aspects of Data Center Management. The Projects included in the Enterprise Data Center Program are: Data Center Management (DCM), Integrating Innovative Technologies Project (I2T), Professional Development (PDEV) and Security and Audit (SEC).
General Submissions
This area is for submissions that need to be reviewed and assigned to a SHARE program that best defines the topic of the presentation.
Information Management
The Information Management Program (IMGT) focuses on how enterprises organize, retrieve, acquire and maintain information. The Projects in the Information Management Program include the Database Project (DB) which primarily covers DB2 and also includes Oracle and MySQL, the IMS Project (IMSD) and the Storage Project (STOR).
Linux & VM
The mission of the Linux & VM Program (LVM) is to provide information and education to SHARE attendees who are users of Linux and VM technologies; to influence the direction of development in the realms of Linux and VM; to provide an environment that fosters the interchange of ideas among the participants.
The LVM Program comprises two Projects: The Linux Project (LINX) focuses on the Linux operating system and its uses on all platforms. The VM Project (VM) focuses on all things related to the z/VM operating system and related software.
LVM also provides sessions on Virtualization technologies, from running Linux on VM to virtual networks, storage and Cloud computing.
MVS
The MVS Program is concerned with the installation, maintenance, management, integration, and exploitation of z/OS systems and System z hardware. It is comprised of four projects: Enterprise-wide Capacity Planning and Performance Management (EWCP), MVS SCP (MVSE), MVS Storage Management (MVSS), and zNextGen; and three Committees: ISPF, JES2, and JES3.
